  • Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue

    The plot chronicles the exploits of Michael, a teenager who is using marijuana and stealing his father’s beer. His younger sister, Corey, is worried about him because he started acting differently. When her piggy bank goes missing, her cartoon tie-in toys come to life to help her find it. After discovering it in Michael’s room along with his stash of drugs, the various cartoon characters proceed to work together and take him on a fantasy journey to teach him the risks and consequences a life of drug-use can bring and save the world.

    While in junior high, Kubota, had a major crush on Masana but she was dating Kazuya. Now in his senior year of high school, Kubota, still has a crush on Masana even though he hasn’t seen her in years. A chance encounter leads to an interesting situation. It seems Masana has broken up with Kazuya and is ready for a new relationship. Or is she? Will Kubota be so blinded by his feelings that he fails to see what is really happening? Will he even care?! After all he could very easily lose his virginity by pretending that he doesn’t. Adapted from the Nineteen manga.

  • It’s the Sea! Let’s Set Sail! Niko Niko, Pun

    A feature-length animation of the popular work “Niko Niko, Pun”, which began broadcasting in the 1980s as a corner of NHK’s educational program “Okaasan to Issho”. The original “Niko Niko, Pun” was a live-action puppet show in costume, but in this anime version, the three main characters are voiced by the same voice actors, including Kaneta Kimotsuki. One day, Porori hears from her mother that she has a new baby brother. With the help of Jajamaru and Pikkoro, they set off on a boat to find their brother, but for some reason, the three of them end up on an island inhabited by pirates.

  • The Golden Sword

    The fairy tale film in a modern style tells about nine-year-old Shurochka and her sister Katya, who spend their holidays at their grandmother’s dacha. An elf, the prince of a magical kingdom, is in love with Shurochka. Another character, Igor, the son of wealthy parents, dishonestly takes possession of a magic sword, as a result of which the inhabitants of the dacha are in serious trouble, and the life of the magic kingdom is in jeopardy. A film in which footage of live actors is skillfully combined with stop-motion puppet animation.
