    Melvin Udall, a cranky, bigoted, obsessive-compulsive writer of romantic fiction, is rude to everyone he meets, including his gay neighbor, Simon. After Simon is brutally attacked and hospitalized, Melvin finds his life turned upside down when he has to look after Simon’s dog. In addition, Carol, the only waitress at the local diner who will tolerate him, leaves work to care for her chronically ill son, making it impossible for Melvin to eat breakfast.

    Arun falls in love at first sight with a bank cashier Seetha and follow her everywhere. Seetha refuses his love and tells him her past. In the past, Seetha was from a middle-class family. Seetha’s brother-in-law was a jobless, and lived with them. Balu was a bank manager and falls in love with Seetha. Mani, Balu’s father, a miser, looked for a rich daughter-in-law. Finally, Balu got married with Seetha and the same day, Balu died in a crossfire. So Mani refused to keep Seetha in his house. Later, without money, Mani begged Seetha to come with him and she took her late husband job. Seetha’s brother-in-law took his wife’s thaali and tied the thaali to Seetha. She immediately removed the thaali. Arun decides to marry her despite her past. The court cancels the marriage between Seetha and her brother-in-law. Seetha’s sister kills her husband to save Seetha’s marriage. At the end, Arun and Seetha get married.

    The film starts off with the killing of two lovers by Veerabadrayya who is a Rayalaseema factionist and is against love marriages. Giridhar goes to Kurnool, to his sister’s house where he falls in love with their young and beautiful neighbor Kaveri. She too falls in love with Giri. Kaveris father, none other than Veerabadrayya himself comes to know about their affair and as expected resents, so Giri escape with Kaveri. Veerabadrayya sends his goons in their chase. Finally what happens forms the rest of the story?

  • A Time for Defiance

    After the Spanish Civil War breaks out, the Prado Museum is being evacuated. One of the guards finds a painting by the master, Goya, and takes it to prevent damage to the work of art. In the interim, he meets a young lady with whom he falls in love. Assisted by her and her family members, the soldier attempts to save Goya’s masterpiece intact amidst the war and violence.
