During the final months of the World War II, a group of special forces sailors, under the command of Lieutenant Balandin, receives a secret order of special importance to destroy enemy tankers, seaplanes and gun installations to ensure the free landing of their troops.

Life After Life
When a man is hired to enhance a fashion show, he decides to go to a puppeteer and use Chinese puppets as accents to the models and the clothes. His interest in the show becomes a personal one when he meets one of the models and romance blossoms. An old woman loans him her antique puppets on the condition that he not keep them in the house with him, or grave misfortunes will result. As one might expect, he ignores the warning and then starts to experience a few accidents and unusual occurrences – including being knocked out by what he thought was a puppet, and seeing flashes of a murder while he was unconscious.

The setting is in scenic Simla, summer capital of the British Raj in the 1970’s. Chandramukhi from Bombay is on holiday with her parents and so is Naresh, a US educated medical professional with his parents. Chandramukhi and Naresh show interest in each other, encouraged by their parents. Choudhary Janak Singh, an important and wealthy man lives with his lawyer daughter Karuna in a lovely colonial period mansion. Their house-guest Mohan, a lawyer from Chandigarh is a protege of Janak Singh. Karuna and Mohan develop a romantic interest. The story of Paro and Madho, who lived in pre-independence India comes to affect the present.
