Throw into this mix a sub plot involving the lucrative ownership of a night club, a woman searching for her missing sister and of course the newly edited in footage which details the hired goons fighting on behalf of the gangs

  • The Spirit of the Sword

    In this film, there are 5 main clans ruling the martial world, each representing one of the 5 elements – fire, metal, water, wood and earth. Each year they hold a martial arts competition to decide which one of the 5 clans will rule the world. The story is centered around one of these tournaments, as a catastrophe arises when an evil samurai killer shows up 49 days before the start and tries to assassinate the current leader who happens to be from the Water clan.

  • Red Rattlesnake

    A crime / revenge movie loaded with gory torture sequences, including acid in the shower, a pick-axe killing and a lovely scene where a man is tied to a cross and killed with the titular critters. Scenes from this later ended up in the IFD / Godfrey Ho mishmash Majestic Thunderbolt (1985).

    When two twin brothers Sudhir and Adhir get orphaned upon the death of their father, Magistrate Chaturvedi adopts them and brings them up like his own children. Though Adhir goes insane after the death of his father, Sudhir picks up the opportunity, studies hard and becomes a doctor like Magistrate Chaturvedi’s son Prashant. When Prashant gets caught for performing an illegal operation, Sudhir takes up the blame to repay the debt of the Chaturvedi family on him and his brother.
